During the working process of the high-pressure pump, in order to ensure that the pressure of the system will not cause damage to the high-pressure system due to overpressure, a safety valve or a pressure regulating valve must be configured.
Safety valve or pressure regulating valve is an essential part of a high-pressure fluid system. Its main function is to play the role of safety overflow to protect the safe operation of the high-voltage system.
The difference between safety valve and regulating valve:
When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, the safety valve will automatically open to release the pressure, ensuring that the medium pressure in the equipment and pipeline is below the set pressure, protecting the equipment and pipeline, and preventing accidents.
The pressure regulating valve plays the role of stabilizing or regulating the pressure. The value of the pressure can be set. When the pressure is higher than this value, the valve will open, and when the pressure is lower than this value, the valve will be closed.
